Childhelp in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a dedicated Forensic Interviewer to conduct developmentally appropriate, research-based interviews of children, adolescents (ages 2–17), and vulnerable adults who are alleged victims or witnesses of abuse.

You will coordinate interviews with a multidisciplinary team, maintain case documentation, and contribute to case reviews and legal proceedings, including expert testimony. Fluency in English and Spanish is required to support diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Sciences with emphasis in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field.
• Minimum two years in a multidisciplinary environment with CPS, law enforcement, and human services.
• Proven forensic interviewing protocols and trauma-informed care; bilingual in English/Spanish.

Responsabilités

• Conduct and coordinate joint forensic interviews of alleged victims/witnesses using research-based protocols.
• Maintain and update case files, video logs, and statistical tracking with meticulous documentation.
• Participate in weekly Case Reviews and coordinate information with multi-disciplinary team members.
• Provide testimony in criminal, dependency, civil, and family court proceedings.
• Stay current on forensic interviewing research and offer training on best practices.
