Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to promote the company’s products and services and to build relationships with new and existing accounts in the local territory. The main focus is helping customers succeed while achieving sales and profit goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience as described
• 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience
• Bi-lingual preferred
• Restaurant Management or Chef experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance requirements
• Pass employment testing and Covenant agreement

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Qualify prospects and follow account stratification goals.
• Research customer needs and tailor product/service offerings.
• Evaluate market trends and recommend products accordingly.
• Be informed on market conditions, products, prices and competitors.
