Job summary

Sysco is seeking an experienced Sales Professional, Restaurant Manager, Culinary Manager or Chef for outside selling in the Charlotte area. You will promote Sysco products, build new relationships, and meet sales and profit goals; some non-traditional hours may be required.

You will develop new business, penetrate accounts, and provide product information and training to customers, while collaborating with credit and delivery teams to ensure smooth orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or 3+ years in Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales with equivalent experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Basic PC skills and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Qualify prospects and follow company account stratification goals.
• Research customer needs and tailor product/service mixes accordingly.
• Communicate market trends and product information to customers and teams.
• Drive a personal vehicle to accounts, meetings, and events.
• Assist with training of new employees as requested.
