Performance Foodservice in Cincinnati is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to develop independent accounts and drive profitability through new sales and account penetration.

You will promote company-branded products, work with regional and national customers, and help expand market share while meeting brand sales objectives. A strong emphasis on B2B development and customer service is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outside sales experience (hunter role for new accounts).
• 2+ years of related culinary chef, restaurant operations, or restaurant management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generates new business by analyzing territory and pursuing potential accounts.
• Grows sales and profit margins to meet goals.
• Sets up new customer accounts and coordinates deliveries with the Credit Department and other teams.
• Ensures customer satisfaction through proactive service and issue resolution.
• Builds additional business with current customers through product penetration.
