Qualifications

• Minimum two years serving experience; high-end casual or fine dining preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish is a plus.
• Stand for long periods & be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute necessary tasks.
• Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification and TABC Certification; follow sanitation procedures and regulations regarding alcohol service.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, attentive service to guests.
• Know the origins, pronunciations, and ingredients of menu items.
• Recommend drinks for the occasion, including margaritas, wine, and tequila.
• Create regular guests through bilingual, detailed service that is not stuffy.
• Inspire teammates to ask for help.
• Understand the balance of great service and efficiency.
