Job summary

Mexican Sugar Uptown in Dallas seeks a friendly, hardworking team member to provide fast, accurate food and beverage service following established quality and time standards.

You will keep the dining and service areas clean, assist servers and bartenders, observe safety rules, and help with preparing tables and handling guest needs. E-Verify participation is required; Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Able to stand for long periods.
• Lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and properly utilize a tray.
• Obtain and update any required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient service to guests following quality and time standards.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and follow uniform guidelines.
• Assemble/disassemble workstations promptly and maintain cleanliness during shift.
• Stock and replenish supplies; observe safety guidelines.
• Assist restaurant servers in maintaining tables and guest satisfaction.
• Polish silverware and glassware; ensure the restaurant is set up for success.
• Communicate and collaborate with coworkers and management in a positive manner.
• Adhere to all state and federal laws regarding service of food and alcohol, including certifications.
