Westat, Inc. is seeking bilingual Field Interviewers for the MEPS project in the San Diego area. The role involves conducting in-person and video interviews in English and Spanish, traveling to training and household locations, and handling data submission and paperwork.

The position is part-time with two data collection periods each year, requiring availability Jan–Jul and Jul–Dec, plus mandatory trainings. Overtime, benefits details, and eligibility are outlined in the job description.

Qualificações

• Bilingual in English and Spanish, written and spoken.
• Able to travel locally and occasionally overnight.
• Available Jan 2027–Dec 2030 with a minimum 20 hours/week.
• Valid driver’s license and a fully insured vehicle.
• Must pass Westat language assessment protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with selected households.
• Contact households by phone and in-person to set appointments and complete interviews.
• Transmit data daily and manage relevant administrative paperwork.
• Attend required web-based and in-person trainings and travel as needed.
