Job summary

Moss, the #1 Solar EPC Contractor in the United States, seeks a Human Resources Field Coordinator to support a utility-scale solar project in Denton, NC. This role partners with field leadership to deliver on-site HR support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring a positive employee experience and aiding payroll, records, and compliance.

The position starts at 7:00 AM to align with field operations and requires 2+ years in HR, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle confidential

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Human Resources, employee relations, payroll, recruiting, or workforce coordination preferred.
• Experience supporting hourly employees, field operations, or fast-paced environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and policy application.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust with employees and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary HR point of contact for assigned project sites and field leadership.
• Partner with project leaders to address workforce needs and HR matters.
• Support full employee lifecycle: onboarding, changes, transfers, promotions, offboarding.
• Coordinate new hire onboarding for successful integration.
• Review and resolve timekeeping and attendance-related payroll matters.
• Provide guidance on HR policies and company programs; escalate when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate HR records and assist with reporting and compliance.
• Collaborate on compliance initiatives, audits, and workforce development projects.
