Job summary

TTUHSC's Family Medicine Clinic in Odessa seeks a Sr Patient Services Specialist to manage patient flow, schedule visits, and handle insurance and paperwork. You will be the primary contact for patients in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with nursing staff and physicians.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3 years of customer service experience (2 in healthcare). Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; daytime hours with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Three years of customer service, office, or related experience; two years in healthcare/clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and prepare paperwork for patient visits.
• Process charges for clinic services and file insurance claims.
• Maintain patient records and respond to information requests from patients and insurers.
• Supervise and train Front Desk/Patient Service Specialists; monitor front desk and call center activities.
