CTS Engines is hiring a Custodian/Janitor to maintain a clean, safe environment across the facility. Responsibilities include cleaning, waste disposal, restrooms, and common areas, with attention to safety and proper storage of supplies. Bilingual English/Spanish abilities are required to communicate effectively with staff and guests.

The role involves operating cleaning equipment, reporting maintenance needs, and assisting with event setup. Work is primarily on-site with varied shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior custodial, janitorial or housekeeping experience
• English and Spanish language skills
• Basic knowledge of cleaning practices, and safety procedures
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Responsabilités

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize various areas
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, offices and common areas
• Ensure areas and supplies are stocked (restroom, cleaning supplies, soap, paper towels, toilet paper)
• Collect and dispose of trash and recycling bins accordingly
• Clean interior glass, windows, walls, doors and light fixtures
• Report minor maintenance issues and coordinate with maintenance for repairs
• Safely operate cleaning equipment (floor buffers, power washers)
• Conduct routine security checks (lock doors/windows after cleaning)
• Monitor and manage cleaning supplies and replenish as needed
• Adhere to safety protocols for chemicals, equipment, PPE
• Respond to spills or accidents promptly for safety
• Assist with setup/teardown of rooms for meetings or events
• Operate custodial equipment as needed
• Maintain general cleanliness and organization in assigned areas

Formation

High School diploma or equivalent
