Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodian to keep facilities clean and sanitary across assigned areas. The role involves following daily schedules, using cleaning equipment, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Bilingual abilities are a plus, along with teamwork and adherence to safety rules. Requirements include no specific education, 3–6 months of training or experience preferred, and possible forklift certification.

Qualifications

• No specific education requirement; 3–6 months training or experience preferred or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license may be required depending on business needs.
• Safety and task training certification completed.
• May be forklift certified.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties.
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules.
• Work in a team with other employees.
• Maintain clean work area.
• Present a professional appearance and conduct.
