Job summary

Community Health Alliance is seeking an Exchange Enrollment Facilitator (EEF) to support patients in accessing and understanding affordable health coverage. The role requires Certified Enrollment Counselor certification in Nevada and involves assisting with Medicaid applications, redeterminations, and related coverage requirements.

This grant-funded position supports Nevada Health Authority’s enrollment and outreach initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must maintain Certified Enrollment Counselor certification and Nevada Division of Insurance registration.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local benefit programs including Medicaid and Marketplace.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and documentation of patient interactions.
• Strong bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and standard office equipment.
• Ability to protect confidentiality per HIPAA/CHA policies.
• Ability to travel between clinic sites and community events; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Support patients in accessing and understanding health coverage options and enrollment processes.
• Assist eligible individuals with Medicaid applications and redeterminations.
• Provide education and outreach to help patients make informed coverage decisions.
• Document patient interactions in EMR and report outcomes.
• Travel between clinic sites and community events as needed.
