Job summary

HEALTH RESEARCH AND EDUCATIONAL TRU is seeking a Certified Enrollment Counselor to join the NJ State Navigator program during Open Enrollment. The role provides free, impartial outreach, enrollment assistance, and post-enrollment support to uninsured residents across New Jersey.

You will participate in training, collaborate with healthcare partners, and help consumers compare plans, apply for financial assistance, and maintain coverage.

Qualifications

• College degree in healthcare-related field or 10 years equivalent experience.
• Bilingual English and Spanish strongly preferred.
• Ability to use video conferencing tools and data entry systems.

Responsibilities

• Educate consumers about GetCoveredNJ and NJ FamilyCare.
• Assist with GetCoveredNJ accounts, applications and eligibility.
• Coordinate outreach events and partner-site assistance.
• Arrange interpreter services and ensure accessibility.
• Document project activities using data collection tools.
