You will verify insurance, collect co-pays, update EHR records, route calls, and maintain HIPAA compliance in a fast-paced clinical environment. Prior front-office healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Experience in a medical front office is preferred.
• Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems is helpful.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients at the front desk in a warm, professional manner.
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using scheduling software.
• Answer and route incoming calls, voicemails, and patient inquiries.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and collect co-pays at time of service.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update demographic information in the EHR system.
• Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and communication between patients and clinical staff.
• Manage patient intake forms and HIPAA compliance documentation.
