Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in employee relations and workers’ compensation management, preferably in retail or production.
• Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations, especially workers’ compensation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Oversee workers’ compensation process from injury report to resolution.
• Coordinate with providers, insurers, and legal representatives to manage claims.
• Develop and implement return-to-work programs with managers for modified duties.
• Serve as primary contact for employee relations, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
• Train managers on harassment prevention, diversity, and conflict resolution.
• Maintain accurate records and generate reports to identify trends and improvement areas.
• Stay updated on employment laws to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.
