Job summary

Johnson Controls is hiring an Emergency Dispatch Operator (EDO) in Aurora, CO to monitor alarms, verify signals, dispatch authorities, and document procedures. Training is provided; bilingual English/Spanish candidates receive additional compensation.

You will support emergency response with high-quality customer service and accurate record-keeping. The role requires 18+ years old, prior customer service, strong communication, and good typing speed (20–25 wpm) with basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old.
• Experience in customer service or call center environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Typing speed of 20–25 words per minute and basic computer skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and may yield additional compensation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to alarms and signals while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Make outgoing calls to verify alarms, dispatch authorities, and notify responsible parties.
• Document alarm handling procedures and complete alarm processing per standard operating procedures.
