Job summary

Savista, a national leader in revenue cycle management, is seeking an Eligibility Specialist I at our Bryan Medical Center East Campus in Lincoln, NE. You will meet patients in person, assess eligibility for Medicaid, Medicare, disability, and hospital charity care, and guide families through the application process with empathy and clear explanations.

You’ll collaborate with hospital teams, handle a high caseload, document accurately, and comply with HIPAA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
• 1+ years in a customer-facing role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a patient advocate, meeting with patients in-person to assess eligibility for financial assistance programs.
• Engage patients via phone outreach to facilitate screenings and documentation.
• Guide patients through complex applications for Medicaid, Medicare, Disability, and hospital charity care.
