Job summary

YES Prep in Houston, TX is seeking a Bilingual Assistant Principal to lead a campus for an 11‑month academic year. You will coach teachers, oversee intervention supports, and drive student achievement with data-informed instruction.

The role demands strong leadership, collaboration with families, and a commitment to YES Prep core values. The successful candidate will manage testing, behavior systems, and professional development across the campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution.
• At least two years of exemplary instructional leadership and/or Grade-Level Chair experience.
• At least three years of exemplary teaching.
• Experience in administration and/or supervision.
• Certification in teaching/instruction.

Responsibilities

• Manage progress toward increased student achievement for teachers using assessment data.
• Coach campus Interventionists and leaders delivering targeted instruction.
• Observe and evaluate teachers to ensure high-quality instruction.
• Plan and implement RTI and case management to improve student outcomes.
• Lead professional learning for teachers and staff throughout the year.
• Oversee campus testing responsibilities with accuracy and fidelity.
• Provide leadership and coaching on school culture, discipline, and student achievement.
