Job summary

Loenbro is seeking an Electrical Trainer (Electrical Instructor) to design, deliver, coordinate, and evaluate electrical training programs across multiple states. The role emphasizes bilingual instruction in English and Spanish and mentorship of apprentices, using NCCER curricula to advance the company’s workforce.

This full-time position reports to the Electrical Training Manager and involves travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience as an Industrial or Commercial Electrician.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, installation practices, and troubleshooting.
• Experience mentoring or training apprentices or field teams.
• High school diploma required; technical certifications, journeyman/master credentials, or NCCER qualifications.
• Bilingual Fluency (English/Spanish) is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple levels of Loenbro's electrical apprentice training using the NCCER curriculum; including classroom instruction, scheduling, payroll coordination, material ordering, and record keeping.
• Deliver learning content in both English and Latin American Spanish.
• Provide job-specific training such as NEC code updates, NFPA 70e, and other required electrical/safety instruction.
• Maintain a professional, supportive, and structured classroom environment.
• Conduct electrical assessments to identify knowledge gaps, training needs, and curriculum updates for incoming candidates.
• Coach and mentor employees helping them advance through their apprenticeship levels and career pathways.
• Develop and track KPIs to measure training effectiveness, skill progression, and credential attainment.
• Hold weekly one-on-one check-ins with students and maintain training logs.
• Coordinate employee certifications and re-certifications, ensuring timely completion and compliance.
• Follow and enforce all Loenbro safety policies and report unsafe conditions to leadership.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.
