Job summary

Loenbro in Cedar Rapids, IA, is seeking an Electrical Apprenticeship Instructor to design and deliver electrical training programs for apprentices and field professionals. You will lead multi-state cohorts, evaluate performance, and ensure training meets internal and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years as an Industrial/Commercial Electrician, is bilingual in English and Spanish, and can mentor crews.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years as Industrial or Commercial Electrician with leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation practices, and troubleshooting.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver NCCER-based training across multiple states, including scheduling and record keeping.
• Provide job-specific training on NEC, NFPA 70e, and safety.
• Coach and mentor apprentices to progress through their levels and career paths.
• Develop and track KPIs to measure training effectiveness and credential attainment.
• Maintain training logs and conduct weekly one-on-one check-ins.
