Job summary

KPA is seeking an EHS Risk Management Consultant to develop and maintain relationships with clients, supporting Environmental Health & Safety compliance across the Bay Area. The role emphasizes field audits, employee trainings, and regulatory interaction, with travel requirements and a bilingual English/Spanish focus.

The position is based in the Bay Area with a home-office setup and entails 2–3 weeks of overnight travel per quarter.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science/Engineering, Safety Studies or related disciplines preferred.
• Minimum of three years of Environmental Health & Safety experience preferred.
• Must have the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite field audits for OSHA, DOT, Fire Code, and EPA regulations with mitigation recommendations.
• Deliver employee trainings and moderate safety committee meetings.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, auto dealer groups, and state dealer associations.
• Develop and monitor accident prevention programs to ensure safe working conditions.
• Assist with and prepare compliance documentation as needed (e.g., OSHA logs, EPA IDs, SPCC Plans).
