Job summary

Riverside Community Care seeks an Early Head Start Home Visitor to support low-income families with infants or toddlers. The role includes in-home services, group activities, and coordination of health, nutrition, and parenting education.

The candidate helps families access community resources and tracks progress across multiple services. The position emphasizes building caring relationships, managing a 12-family caseload, and using data systems to monitor outcomes while working a full-time

Qualifications

• Commitment to working with low-income and immigrant families and pregnant women.
• Knowledge of community resources or how to access services.
• Ability to establish a caring, supportive relationship with clients.
• Familiarity with child development and social services delivery systems.
• Ability to manage a caseload of 12 families and plan activities efficiently.
• Ability to use computerized data systems to track services.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home and some on-site educational services to support families with infants or toddlers, or pregnant women.
• Work one-on-one with families and conduct weekly home visits and socialization groups.
• Partner with pregnant women and families to enhance healthy growth and development.
• Coordinate health, nutrition, early childhood and parenting education, and social services.
