Job summary

CSL Vifor in Charleston, SC is seeking a Pheresis Process Support to prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process. You will report to the Assistant Center Manager and ensure safety and data integrity throughout the procedure.

This role requires attention to detail, basic math, and a focus on donor safety. You may be cross-trained and bilingual skills could be required, with strict adherence to SOPs and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic math calculations are required.
• Experience in medical or health provider environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and pheresis process and respond to alarms.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Record incidents using the PDA during the pheresis process.
• Link equipment and supplies to the donor in the PDA.
• Alert Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Ensure accurate donor data recording in the electronic donor information management system according to SOPs.
• Understand policies related to hyperimmune programs at the center.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow HSE/OSHA policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of personnel, donor, and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas as needed.
• Bilingual skills may be required at organization’s discretion.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
