Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Homewood, IL is seeking a full-time Retail Parts Pro with strong automotive parts knowledge and customer service skills. The role includes advanced store systems usage, part sourcing from multiple channels, and performing DIY services such as battery installations and wiper replacements.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, a valid driver's license, and be able to read safety and parts manuals. Bilingual ability (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
