Job summary

Excelsior Prep Miami Gardens is seeking a Director of Admissions to lead student recruitment, enrollment, and onboarding for grades K-8 at a Miami-based campus.

The role drives enrollment strategy, community partnerships, and data-driven improvements to outreach and conversion, while ensuring compliance with charter and state requirements. Local travel and after-hours events may be required.

Qualifications

• English and Spanish required.
• Experience with Salesforce is required.
• Strong project management skills with ability to handle multiple deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with families and community stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze enrollment funnel data and apply insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual admissions and recruitment plan to meet grade-level targets.
• Foster community outreach and partnerships with feeder programs and local leaders.
• Oversee application process, data entry, timelines, and family experience from inquiry to first day.
• Administer lotteries, waitlists, and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Lead annual re-enrollment activities and retention strategies.
• Produce multilingual communications about deadlines and onboarding steps.
• Maintain enrollment pipelines and dashboards; report to leadership and Board.
• Collaborate with Principal, Executive, Management and Marketing teams on projections and budgeting.
• Oversee onboarding, registration, and health documentation in collaboration with administration.
• Attend school recruitment and enrollment events, including after hours.
