Job summary

Compass Connections is hiring for a residential child welfare role at our Texas facility. You will supervise children, implement treatment plans, and help run daily activities in a safe, supportive environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year in child welfare or related field, and First Aid/CPR. Evening shifts, English/Spanish fluency, and potential for advancement are offered with full benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of employment in child welfare or related human services field required.
• Preferred: two+ years' experience or training in related field.
• First Aid and CPR certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Meet federal and state guidelines applicable to this position.
• Document incidents, daily progress, and activities accurately and timely.
• Provide supervision of children and assist with orientation and program operations.
• Plan activities and teach life skills, basic academics and positive behavior strategies.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct at all times.
