Job summary

HomeSafe Florida is seeking a Developmental Consultant II to coordinate family services for children birth to 5 in Palm Beach County. The role involves screenings, assessments, eligibility determinations, referrals, and home visits across community settings. Flexible daytime/evening hours, Tuesday-Saturday schedule, and field-based site work.

Bilingual English/Spanish is required. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Human Services, with 2+ years in child welfare or related fields, and a valid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field.
• Two years of experience in child welfare, prevention, or related field.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Valid Florida driver's license.
• Successful completion of a background check through Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Provide developmental screenings and assessments for birth to age five and families.
• Analyze results to identify needs, risk factors, strengths, and services.
• Educate families about Healthy Beginnings, CSC, ELC, and community resources.
• Determine eligibility for prevention/early intervention services.
• Coordinate referrals and linkages to services; conduct home visits and community appointments.
• Engage families, support outreach events, trainings, and workshops.
• Maintain accurate case documentation and program data.
