Job summary

Buckland seeks a Customer Service Representative to support import/export clearance and client inquiries in our Texas office. This role involves acting as a liaison between clients and the company, ensuring accurate information and timely resolution of issues.

The position requires 2+ years in customs brokerage or logistics, bilingual Spanish/English, and strong MS Office skills. Weekend shifts Saturday-Sunday 08:00–19:00 and Monday-Tuesday 11:00–22:00 are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years in customs brokerage or logistics.
• Knowledge of Mexican Trade Legislation preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-level customer service to clients, vendors, and service providers for import/export clearance.
• Assist with onboarding and administration of new customers.
• Coordinate with intercompany departments for client setup and inquiries.
• Process bond activities for US Northern Border Brokerage Division if applicable.
• Review orders and monitor fulfillment until completion.
• Identify opportunities to meet customer demands.
• Maintain clear written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook.
• Ensure accuracy and timely decision making in a fast-paced environment.
