Job summary

LifeSpan Home Care is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Wisconsin to handle inquiries, referrals, questions and complaints from clients and referral sources. You will report to the Client Support Services Manager and coordinate services across offices.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of related experience, strong English skills, and the ability to type 35 wpm. Spanish bilingual preferred; familiarity with MS Word/Outlook/Excel is a plus.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• 1–2 years directly related work experience required.
• 6 months to 1 year in home health setting preferred.
• Must be able to type 35 wpm with 80% accuracy and 80% accuracy in Excel.
• Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English; communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Accepts or assists and/or processes inquiries, referrals, questions and complaints from referral sources and/or clients/patients as required by process.
• Coordinates services with affected offices and departments as required by process.
• Verifies client payor and eligibility.
• Obtains initial authorization for service(s).
• Maintains activity records as required by process.
