The Restaurant Store in Lancaster, PA is seeking a bilingual Customer Solutions Specialist to serve Spanish- and English-speaking customers with hospitality and accuracy. This role focuses on order status, product support, and loyalty-building across our online foodservice platform.

You'll work a hybrid schedule with two days per week in our Lancaster office and fulltime hours, collaborating with multiple teams to ensure customers receive up-to-date information and exceptional service while

Responsibilities

As a Bilingual Customer Service Representative, you will:

Communicate with Spanish and English speaking customers through phone, email and chat about their order status and available products
Provide friendly, efficient and accurate solutions for customers with the goal of customer loyalty and increased business sales
Listen to and analyze customers' issues, investigate problems, and provide strategic solutions in both English and Spanish
Ensure that customers always have the most complete and up-to-date information about the status of their orders
Communicate product or service issues as they arise within the Customer Solutions department, as well as, with any additional, relevant departments
Foster a team-oriented environment by maintaining a positive, professional attitude in all correspondence both within and outside the company
Be willing to remain flexible and adapt to change as we continue to grow as a company
Take initiative and use strategic thinking to ensure that The Restaurant Store is the leader in the online foodservice industry
Learn about the foodservice industry and the products that we sell
Guide customers through the website, while providing online shopping assistance and product help
Can work a 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM schedule and be in our Lancaster, PA office 2 days per week as part of our hybrid schedule

Physical Requirements

Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

Remote Work Qualifications

Access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) are preferred, as satellite connections often cannot support the technologies used to perform day-to-day tasks.
Access to a home router and modem.
A dedicated home office space that is noise- and distraction-free. The space should have strong wireless connection or a wired Ethernet connection (wired connection is preferred, if possible).
A valid, physical address (apartment, suite, etc.). PO Boxes are not supported, as a physical address is required for you to receive your computer equipment.
The desire and ability to work and communicate with other team members via chat, webcam, etc.

Experience

A college degree or work experience in a related field is preferred
