Job summary

Labor & Industries (L&I) in Tacoma, WA is seeking a bilingual Customer Service Specialist 2 to support licensing, registration, and permit processes. You will educate customers on L&I services and assist with various state registrations from the Customer Service Center and related offices.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish proficiency, a valid driver's license, and is a full-time position with in-office hours Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and two years of experience providing assistance to clients/customers regarding inquiries, complaints or problems.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required; no translation software.

Responsibilities

• Process licensing, registration and permit applications for completeness and accuracy.
• Educate customers on L&I services (Claims, Pay Balance Due, EPIS, Quick File).
• Assist customers with Customer Service Center, SOS registrations, dissolutions, amendments.
• Issue UBIs for new applications; provide toll-free interpretive assistance when needed.
• Travel between L&I offices to provide front counter support and coverage.
