Job summary

State of Washington, Department of Licensing, Tukwila Driver Licensing Office is seeking a Licensing Services Representative (LSR2). This non-permanent, in-person role requires attendance Monday–Friday. You will issue licenses, IDs and permits, verify documents, collect fees, and travel between offices as needed.

The position emphasizes customer service, accuracy with forms, and adherence to policies. Excellent communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to service are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of direct customer service work experience providing products or services to the public.
• One year of experience using electronic systems and form templates to input data and navigate screens.
• Typing speed of 30 words per minute or greater.
• U.S. Citizenship and valid WA driver license without major restrictions or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Verify authenticity of documents, evaluate information, and issue licenses/IDs per laws and procedures.
• Perform final review of enhanced driver license applications to determine eligibility.
• Collect licensing fees and issue EDL/EID to eligible applicants.
• Travel to other offices as needed and conduct driving skills tests with applicants.
