Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Customer Service Specialist for Store #5891 in Hagerstown, MD. You will help wholesale and retail customers, determine needs, present solutions, and resolve concerns to maximize satisfaction while supporting store sales goals.

Responsibilities include in-person and phone support, stocking, tinting, and delivering products; bilingual English/Spanish communication is required, along with a valid driver’s license and the ability to lift heavy items.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States
• Able to read, write, speak and understand English; also able to read, write, comprehend and communicate in Spanish
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally
• Willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employees must meet performance and HR Cloud training requirements

Responsibilities

• Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction through sales service
• Assist customers in person and by phone, determine needs and present products/services
• Build trust with wholesale and retail customers
• Process sales transactions accurately per policies
• Meet monthly/quarterly/yearly sales goals
• Maintain accurate work orders and product stock
• Tint and mix products per customer specs
• Stock shelves and set up displays
• Assist in deliveries as needed
• Maintain clean and presentable areas and equipment
• Stay knowledgeable on products and options and follow inventory controls
• Suggest improvements to drive sales
