Job summary

Fund for Public Health in New York City (FPHNYC) seeks a Bilingual Customer Service Representative for the Groceries to Go program. The CSR will answer calls and emails from New Yorkers, screen eligibility, enroll participants, and help them access grocery resources.

Based in the NYC tri-state area, the role supports the Healthy Eating Unit within the Bureau of Chronic Disease Prevention. Fluency in English and Spanish, strong communication, and Salesforce experience are essential.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming inquiries via phone and email in a professional manner and following program protocols.
• Screen New Yorkers for eligibility and enrollment; re-screen as needed.
• Enroll eligible New Yorkers into the program.
• Refer clients to appropriate food resources.
• Conduct outreach to Groceries to Go participants.
• Follow policies and procedures regarding communications and tracking.
• Attend regular team meetings and elevate issues as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned to support department goals.
