Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 12 credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or related social sciences.

Responsibilities

• Obtain information from clients and families for identification of social, economic, emotional, health or physical problems and assist in obtaining services.
• Provide casework and counseling to aid clients in achieving better adjustment.
• Collaborate with other social agencies, hospitals, clinics, courts, and community resources to meet client needs.
• Interpret programs, policies and procedures to individuals, groups, and agencies.
• Document contacts and maintain client files per agency policy.
• Translate forms from English to Spanish and interpret client calls as needed.
