Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Carbon County Children and Youth seeks a County Caseworker 1 to support children and families in challenging situations, guiding them toward safety and emotional well-being. This full-time position runs 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute lunch; on-call may be required.

Telework is not offered. Candidates must have two years of experience as County Social Services Aide 3 with 12 credits in related social sciences or a bachelor's degree with

Competenze

• Two years of experience as a County Social Services Aide 3 and two years of college coursework that includes 12 credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or related social sciences; or
• A bachelor's degree that includes or is supplemented by 12 credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or related social sciences; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training that includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or related social sciences and one year of experience as a County Social Services Aide 3 or in a similar paraprofessional case management role.
• Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements within two months of graduating with a qualifying degree/credits.
