Job summary

The Meadows Post Acute in Panorama City is hiring a Cook to prepare a wide variety of meals for residents, staff and visitors. This full-time role covers mornings and afternoons, with supervision duties in the absence of leadership. Bilingual English/Spanish is required.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, speaking and understanding English for safety and care.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in commercial/volume food preparation required.
• Serve-Safe Certification required.
• Must provide verification of TST as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a wide variety of foods for residents/patients; employees and visitors.
• Plan cooking schedules to meet mealtime schedules.
• Direct other Food and Nutrition Services employees in the absence of the Food Service Director and Assistant Food Service Director.
