Job summary

Good Neighbor Society's Meadows Assisted Living Community is seeking a compassionate Universal Worker / Cook to prepare home-cooked meals for about 40 residents and provide warm, resident-focused hospitality daily.

You will follow menus and dietary guidelines, maintain a clean kitchen, assist with ADLs, and participate in activities and events that enhance residents' well-being. Training and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and resident-focused.
• Experience in food service or caregiving is helpful, but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals for residents.
• Follow menus, recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen; plan meals for holidays/events.
• Assist residents with ADLs; provide companionship and support.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and dining room setup.
