Job summary

HM Staffing Solutions seeks a Safety Construction Coordinator who is bilingual in English and Spanish to work with the Superintendent and Project Manager to administer and implement safety policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to corporate standards and project goals.

Responsibilities include site inspections, safety program reviews, coordinating Pre-Construction Safety Planning Meetings, and conducting OSHA training and incident investigations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related Construction Health and Safety experience.
• Must be bilingual English/Spanish.
• OSHA 510 preferred.
• Willingness to achieve CHST designation within two years.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Trained as CPR Instructor.

Responsibilities

• Conducts regular site inspections and records safe/unsafe conditions.
• Performs administrative tasks related to project safety binder and document storage.
• Coordinates subcontractor Pre-Construction Safety Planning Meetings.
• Acts as a resource for field operations for OSHA/state/local regulations.
• Reviews Subcontractors' Site Specific Safety Programs and Job Hazard Analysis.
• Attends and monitors Tool Box Talks to assure documentation and quality.
• Performs accident investigations and collects incident reporting forms.
• Coordinates with Regional Risk Managers for claims trend analysis and proactive risk planning.
• Reviews subcontractor training documentation related to scope of work.
• Conducts OSHA 10/30 Hour HAZWOPER and other safety trainings.
