Maximus is hiring a Bilingual Community Outreach Specialist (English/Spanish) in Santa Paula, CA, to educate beneficiaries and guide enrollment into a managed care health plan. This onsite role supports Medi-Cal outreach across Ventura County with quarterly performance bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required and 0–6 months of experience, or equivalent
• Reliable transportation and valid automobile insurance
• Valid CA Driver's License
• Knowledge of the local community
• Willing and able to travel throughout counties as needed
• Fluency in threshold languages (English and Spanish)
• Six months of customer service experience
• Presentation/public speaking experience preferred
• Experience working with low-income and diverse populations preferred

Responsabilidades

• Foster strong customer relationships and monitor engagement.
• Collaborate with customers to attain program goals and maintain eligibility for services.
• Conduct workshops and deliver training services to customers.
• Guide customers through enrollment to benefit allocation.
• Aid customers in accessing services aligned with program objectives.
• Follow up to ensure needs are met and address queries.
• Collaborate with team to resolve participant issues.
• Maintain accurate case notes and document activities.
• Share updates on outreach efforts with project staff.
• Report barriers hindering customer engagement to providers.
