Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Bilingual Community Outreach Specialist (English/Spanish) in Long Beach, CA. You will be the face of Medi-Cal programs, guiding enrollment and helping families access healthcare resources.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–6 months of relevant professional experience.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Knowledge of the local community and travel within LA County.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and process intake referrals via calls, voicemail, email, or other channels.
• Respond to inquiries and refer clients to appropriate agencies or resources.
• Perform initial eligibility screening for services.
• Review and screen applications and supporting documentation.
• Enter and maintain data in databases and systems.
• Travel within Los Angeles County as needed; mileage reimbursement provided.
