Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Bilingual Community Outreach Specialist (English/Spanish) in Hanford, CA to serve as the face of Medi-Cal managed care, connecting individuals and families to healthcare resources and guiding enrollment decisions.

You will foster relationships, deliver workshops, and help diverse populations navigate complex programs. Must reside in Kings County and be willing to work onsite.

Qualifications

• Fluency in threshold languages (English and Spanish).
• Experience delivering customer service in community programs.
• Ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Foster strong customer relationships and monitor engagement.
• Collaborate with customers to meet program goals and maintain eligibility.
• Conduct workshops and deliver training services to customers.
• Guide customers through enrollment and benefit allocation.
• Assist customers with accessing services across education, medical, childcare, transportation and more.
• Follow up to ensure needs are met and address queries or concerns.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve participant issues.
• Maintain accurate case notes and document activities.
• Share updates on outreach with project staff and report barriers.
