Job summary

Community Progress Council, Inc. seeks a Bilingual Navigator to connect York County families with CPC programs and resources. This vital role handles outreach, enrollment support, appointments, and referrals while delivering exceptional customer service to diverse communities.

Responsibilities include eligibility interviews, records management, advocacy for employment/ childcare resources, and representing CPC at events. Travel and flexible hours may be required to meet community needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college coursework preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license, reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel between CPC locations and support evening/weekend events.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; comfortable using technology for client services.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, enroll, and connect families to CPC services.
• Manage walk-ins, phone inquiries, and appointments; collaborate with team for a seamless client experience.
• Build partnerships to coordinate referrals and expand access to services.
• Conduct client interviews and assessments to determine eligibility and goals.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, data entry, and reporting; ensure confidentiality.
• Advocate for clients and assist with applications for employment, childcare, utilities, and other supports.
• Represent CPC at community events and health fairs to strengthen engagement.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and support programmatic needs.
