Eliot Community Human Services, Inc. in Lynn, MA is seeking a bilingual Community Support Specialist to join the CBHC CALM team. You will provide crisis support and connect individuals to services with a compassionate, culturally responsive approach.

Full-time, 11:00AM-7:00PM shift with weekend availability; salary roughly $60k USD per year. The role emphasizes outreach to BIPOC and marginalized communities, with emphasis on social justice and care coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sociology or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

• Respond to individuals in crisis related to mental health, homelessness, or other non-emergency concerns, in-person or by phone.
• Connect individuals with appropriate services, including warm handoffs and ongoing support.
• Collaborate with community partners to de-escalate crises and provide therapeutic interventions.
• Build trust with BIPOC, low-income, and marginalized communities by modeling social justice and cultural awareness.
• Provide follow-up support after crises and help clients navigate behavioral health systems.
