Job summary

Express Employment Professionals in Olympia, WA is seeking a Bilingual Community Based Advocate to support survivors of domestic violence and related issues. This is a full-time, 35-hour-per-week position with evenings/weekends as needed.

The role involves coordinating resources, safety planning, and court support, plus collaboration with partner agencies. A background in social services and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish speaking required.
• Washington State Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide confidential advocacy and support to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, dating violence, and human trafficking.
• Assist survivors with access to resources including safety planning, shelter, housing, transportation, and legal advocacy.
• Complete intake paperwork and conduct danger assessments to support safety planning.
