Job summary

Clackamas Women’s Services is seeking an DHS Advocate to support survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking referred by DHS Self-Sufficiency and Child Welfare programs. The role includes crisis intervention, case management, advocacy, and coordination with DHS staff at multiple sites in the Portland metro area.

The position requires bilingual Spanish/English capabilities, commitment to trauma-informed care, and the ability to travel within Clackamas County and the Greater

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred and bi-cultural competence.
• Experience in case management or advocacy for survivors.
• Understanding of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking issues.
• Ability to work with diverse communities and collaborate across systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention, case management, advocacy, and support to survivors.
• Support DHS staff with dynamics of DV/SA and their impact on survivors.
• Provide accompaniment and transportation as needed.
• Coordinate with DHS, Child Welfare, and self-sufficiency programs during visits and meetings.
• Document services and maintain participant confidentiality.
• Travel throughout Clackamas County and Greater Portland as required.
