Job summary

WuXi TIDES is seeking a Project Manager to lead projects from proposal through completion, interfacing with clients, technical teams, and business development. The role supports business development activities at conferences and client visits, with travel up to 10% and a home-based setup.

The candidate should have 5+ years in pharma or CRO/CMO, a master’s or PhD in life sciences (chemistry preferred), and strong cross-functional leadership capabilities. PMP is desirable.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in life sciences; chemistry background is a plus.
• Pharmaceutical/CRO/CMO industry experience of 5+ years.
• PMP certification is desirable for project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead project initiation and planning activities with clear objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
• Monitor project progression, manage budget, and report status to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with client, technical team, and business development for successful outcomes.
• Support business development by attending customer visits and conferences.
• Prepare quotations/proposals/change orders with input from stakeholders.
