Job summary

Conviva Senior Primary Care, part of Humana's CenterWell family, is seeking a Medical Assistant to be the first contact for patient care, handling both clinical tasks and essential administrative duties onsite.

You will record medical histories, take vital signs, assist providers with procedures, manage documentation in EHR/EMR, and help support quality measures like HEDIS and Stars. This role is a 40-hour week with potential for a bonus incentive.

Qualifications

• Active CMA/RMA certification from an approved body.
• Completion of MA school or 5+ years experience with Provider approval.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year MA experience.
• Phlebotomy experience.
• Medication/vaccine administration experience.
• CPR Certification.
• TB screening required.

Responsibilities

• Pre-visit planning based on visit type.
• Record medical history and vital signs.
• Room patients and assist with procedures.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing.
• Prepare and administer medication under provider direction.
• Document in EHR/EMR including HEDIS/Stars measures.
