Job summary

Amos House in Providence, RI seeks a bilingual Clinician to provide individual and group counseling for adults with co-occurring disorders. The role integrates with a broad health services team offering housing, employment coaching, and case management under one roof.

The clinician will conduct intake assessments, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic, trauma-informed care centered on recovery and harm reduction.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field.
• Valid licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) per state requirements.
• Experience with co-occurring disorders (substance use & mental illness).
• Proficient in CBT, motivational interviewing, and ABA.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments and biopsychosocial evaluations.
• Provide individual and group therapy to 35–40 adults with co-occurring disorders.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on clinical assessments.
• Maintain accurate records in line with HIPAA and agency policies.
