Job summary

Sixteenth Street Community Health Centers is seeking an Entry Level Clinical Support Assistant to join our team in Milwaukee. Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply and will be welcomed into a diverse workplace.

You will greet and room patients, support the Medical Assistant with follow-up activities, and manage the EMR orders module, including obtaining results and following up on outstanding orders.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of in-house training for related responsibilities.
• Spanish speaking candidates are encouraged to apply.
• High school Diploma or GED.
• Ability to relate well to people from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients.
• Assist Medical Assistant with follow-up patient activities as assigned.
• Maintain orders module in EMR including obtaining results from healthcare partners, following up with patients on outstanding orders, resolution of orders.
• Assist with QI team goals, including outreach to patients who receive related referrals or test orders and follow up on MA aspects of Health Reminders.
